Maintenance and attention of forklift special lead-acid battery
The battery should be initial charged before putting to use and it will effect the rated capacity if initial charge insufficient.
(Initial charge has been accomplished before our forklift battery leave the factory and the customer can use it directly)
1、Please use the charging generator supplied byour factory to charge the battery.The plain sequence of connection and insertion is: a\ first,pull out the jack of the forklift battery, b\ then connect the port of the battery(refer to the jack of movable end on the forklift) with charging generator, c\ last ,connect the jack of charging generator to the power source which is electric supply AC380V（For the DC48Vbattery）\ AC220V（For the DC24Vbattery） . The fan of charging generator begins to turn round and the work light brights. When the quantity of electricity is full , “filling indicator lamp”lights showing that electricity is full.
2、Try to avoid over discharge and overcharge to the charging generator. When the voltage of monomer charging generator falls to 1.70V we should supply electricity in time. It is called discharged while the coulomb meter indicates less than 70% and frequently discharged will effect the capacity of battery. When the battery discharged close to the limited value the forklift control system will start automatic security protection. First of all restrictions should be made on the lift motor of forklift, traveling motor is still working, and now the forklift should drive to charging area to supply electricity.
(If you use the charging generator matched to the forklift from our factory, you can charge the battery after work. It will limit current automatically when the battery is full. That can avoid over charged so as to make sure that adequate electricity is available in working hours.)
3、You should charge on the battery after each use and the longest time interval is within 24 hours.
4、Charging the battery should be in the circumstance of shade、ventilate and far away fire so as to avoid hydrogen explosions.
5、Don’t deposit the battery in lack of electricity , that will damage the battery most. To the longtime disused battery you should charge once every month (ordinary charging method)
6、The surface of battery and connecting lines and the bolts should be clean and dry regularly.
7、Keep the connection of battery in better touch in order to avoid sparks burning out the terminal or battery explosion.
8、Do not drop any detrimental impurity into the battery. Keep clean with the instrument that measure the density and temperature and the liquid level of the electrolyte.
9、Can not place any conductive materials on the battery cover so as to avoid battery short circuit .
